European innovation: ERJU (Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking)
ERJU (Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking) Renfe, a partner of the largest European railway R&D&I initiative

Renfe participates in Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking (ERJU), the European programme that brings together the main players in the railway sector to promote research and innovation in sustainable mobility.

It is made up of 25 founding members. Renfe participates through a Spanish consortium led by Adif, in which other organisations also participate, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, such as CEDEX, Ineco and Adif-Alta Velocidad.

Its objective is to develop disruptive and innovative solutions in the railway sector through the implementation of consortium projects in which manufacturers, technologists as well as infrastructure managers and railway operators such as Renfe participate.
