DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION for the Employment Portal

2. Purpose of the processing: (1) Management of candidates’ CVs to fill job vacancies within the Renfe Group; (2) use of candidates’ personal data to arrange interviews; (3) where applicable, scheduling medical checks for selected candidates to whom Order FOM/2872/2010, of 5 November, applies; and (4) if necessary, communicating candidates’ personal data or CVs to other entities within the Renfe Group.

3. Data categories: We process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification details (first name(s), surname(s) and identity document)
  • Contact information (telephone, e-mail and postal address)
  • Personal characteristics data (age, gender, date and place of birth, nationality).
  • Professional/academic data (professional experience, academic background, language skills and proficiency, IT skills and proficiency)
  • Other relevant information (if applicable, possession of a driving licence, own vehicle, willingness to travel, areas of interest, etc.).

4. Legitimacy: The processing of data relating to the management of your CV is necessary for the application of pre-contractual measures or the intention to enter into a contract.

5. Recipients: Personal data may be communicated to the entities that make up the Renfe Group and, if necessary, to the different Public Administrations, Courts and Tribunals when they request it for this purpose.

6. Retention periods: The data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the intended purposes.

7. Rights: As a data subject, you may exercise your rights of: access, rectification, limitation of processing, opposition and portability in the terms established in the regulations at the following address: derechos.renfeepe@renfe.es.

In addition, if you are not satisfied with the exercising of your rights, you can make a complaint to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
