Renfe brings Talgo VI trains to Central Europe, allowing Leo Express to launch international connections between the Czech Republic and Slovakia Leo Express, the Czech railway company whose main shareholder since 2021 is Renfe, has presented today the Talgo VI trains during an inaugural journey between Prague and Slovakia. As of 30 April, this new material leased to Renfe will enable the launch of two new international routes and reinforce rail connectivity between the Czech Republic and Slovakia, consolidating the Renfe Group's presence in Central Europe.
Leo Express to operate Prague-Munich service from December Leo Express will operate a new international service between Prague and Munich from December this year, having secured the EX36 contract tendered by the Czech Ministry of Transport to provide services on this international corridor for the next five years. Renfe is expected to achieve a net profit of over €50 million in 2025 The Renfe group closed 2025 with a net profit exceeding €50 million, largely thanks to revenue growth in its passenger transport division and efficient resource management.
