We strive to achieve increasingly efficient energy management, implement circular economy practices, safeguard our ecosystems through responsible environmental management, and promote sustainable mobility that drives economic growth, equal opportunities and quality employment.
Goal: ZERO CO₂ In 20 years, we have reduced our carbon footprint by nearly 90%, thanks to the use of 100% renewable electricity across our electric fleet. But we don't want to stop here: We aim to reach net-zero emissions across all scopes by 2040.
We take care of our environment Renfe's services, as an alternative to other less sustainable modes of transport, contribute to reducing local pollution levels in cities, congestion, accidents, noise and damage to habitat and biodiversity.
